HK wins bronze in men's team sprint at Asian Games

Hong Kong, China won a bronze medal on Tuesday on the first day of track cycling at the Asian Games in Japan. The trio of Mok Tsz-chun, To Cheuk-hei, and Yung Tsun-ho clocked 43.507 seconds in the men's team sprint to finish ahead of Malaysia in the third-place ride-off. The national team set a new Games record of 42.152 seconds to take gold, while Japan claimed silver. In the women’s team sprint, the national team shattered their own Asian record to capture gold in 45.37 seconds, shaving more than 0.1 seconds off their previous mark.
