Free Workshop on How to Lower High Blood Pressure

Mississauga, Canada - December 4, 2017 /NewsNetwork/ —

Today Cecil McIntosh a relaxation expert and owner of Change Perspective announced a free workshop on how to lower high blood pressure.

In the medical community, high blood pressure is called hypertension but most of us just call it high blood pressure. It’s a serious heart attack which is the #1 killer of men and women.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, having high blood pressure puts people at risk for heart disease and stroke which are leading causes of death in the United States. High blood pressure was a primary or contributing cause of death for more than 410,000 Americans in 2014 which is more than 1,100 deaths each day.

Also high blood pressure costs the nation $48.6 billion each year. This total includes the cost of health care services, medications to treat high blood pressure, and missed days of work.

The contributing factors of this well-publicized, life-threatening medical condition: obesity, lack of exercise, smoking, high levels of cholesterol in the blood and so on.

The symptoms of high blood pressure are usually treated with different medicines, and patients are told to change their lifestyles for the healthier.

Cecil McIntosh said “When it comes to our own health, most of us can eat a healthier diet, walk around the block each morning, quit smoking and cut down on foods high in fat. However, a lifestyle change may not be enough to address one of the best-known causes of hypertension and heart attack – and that’s stress.

Stress comes from external sources that people internalize and then it becomes a part of them. Managing stress involves breaking the cycle of stress inducing more stress.

It’s difficult to avoid stress in life. Examples being the unreasonable boss, the guy who cuts you off, the stack of bills waiting to be paid stress is everywhere. So, if you can’t avoid the things that trigger the natural stress response, it’s essential to learn to control your responses to stress and to manage the stress in your life just as you manage your time.”

This free workshop is based on 25 years of proven and tested results with real life case studies of people who took a different approach. They discovered “Natural Bajan Relaxation” tools that train people how to quickly relax and release daily stress. And also how to incorporate these skills into their busy lives, so that they can control their blood pressure naturally.
